Coach Reed has helped me mentally and physically and in all aspects of catching. Being a black catcher, he has taught me to work even harder knowing the odds are stacked up against me. He prepared me with catching lessons since I was 10, every weekend making me better and also making me mentally tough. I appreciate everything he did and continues to do in supporting me and furthering my game to prepare me for who I am today.

Coach Reed does an excellent job of keeping players engaged and motivated in catching drills. The lessons he designs are challenging, yet unique to each child’s ability level. In addition to teaching skills, he takes time to break concepts down in a way that players can grasp. Myles started lessons with Coach Reed at age 7 and continues to improve under his instruction.

Over the past five years, I have been extremely fortunate to work with Coach Dave. Two of those years were as my head coach where I learned a lot about baseball and good sportsmanship. The last three years were as a position coach for catching. He provided the foundation that has helped me to grow into the catcher that I have become today. My agility, speed, and receiving skills have all flourished under his training program. It is truly a blessing to be able to work with such a great coach.
